But human beings getting murdered in the streets by COPS doesn't, you are part of the problem.
People just want to be closed minded and say it's disrespectful to the ones who died to protect our freedom.
You don't think it's disrespectful to those people who died for OUR FREEDOM that we gather around and sing about the land of the free while black people are constantly treated like animals?
I have family who have served in the military. My cousin was shot in the heart in Afghanistan, dead before he hit the ground. He wasn't in the army to protect the freedom of 'white people'. The ones who served honorably died foe liberty and justice FOR ALL.
Until those words ring true for our black community our national anthem is being sung in vain. The ones who died to defend this country, died in vain. And why? So certain white folks can continue a tradition of hatred, violence and dispicable bigotry?
To the white folks.. All I am asking is that you would all have an open heart and think about what you say. Instead of being quick to get offended because you haven't taken the time to understand what's really going on open your eyes. Understand that there are bigger things at play here than whether or not you think taking a knee is wrong.
If you want to be racist than why are you here supporting a football team that is predominantly made up of African Americans? It just doesn't make sense.
I am white. And I am sick and tired of how black people are treated. This must end.
