If the defense clicks in the next few games

I keep hearing our former players like Sapp, Brooks, and White say this defense takes time to learn, but once everyone gets on the same page it will click like in 1996. If the same thing happens with this team then they might be able to make a run at the division title as none of the teams are making a move. I know there is a lot of what ifs and hope, but it would be fun to watch if it happens.  :)
