Here is my honest assessment of the 1st round QBs in the last 6 years. I'm playing this straight and honest.2013:Manual: NoSmith: NoGlennon: Possible2012:Luck: YesRGIII: NoTannehill: NoWeeden: No2011:Newton: NoPonder: NoGabbert: NoLocker: No2010:Bradford: MaybeTebow: No, lol2009:Stafford: YesSanchez: NoFreeman: No. I did jump the Freeman bandwagon hard after 20102008:Matt Ryan: YesJoe Flacco: NoAs you can see I was right about most of the QB's. Some are still up in the air, all 3 rookies last year undetermined at this point. I would also put RGIII undetermined at this point although he has some serious soul searching to do in order to turn it around.2014:JFF: NopeBortles: NoBridgewater: YesThat's how I see it, that's how I've seen it over the last 5-6 years. My track record has been pretty good. Cam Newton has been better than I expected and Stafford has not been as good as I thought. RGIII surpassed my expectations but was brought back down last year, meanwhile Joe Flacco has put together the best 4 game playoff run in the history of the superbowl. Bradford hasn't ever turned into what I thought.Outside of Bridgewater, McCown may have been the best QB available to us this year.
