I like Jameis but, I wonder if he'll ever take the next step and be better than average. Jameis did some good things Thursday but, this game could have been much easier if it wasn't for Jameis and his lack of vision or his tendency to lock in on receivers. Example, on our last drive we got 3 points when we could have easily had 7. Jameis was dead set on throwing to Evan's when we had a wide open back underneath for a first down and probably a TD. Another example was when Jameis had all day to throw and ended up taking a sack when he had Godwin wide open and a back wide open underneath. There is no excuse for not completing these type of situations. Jameis is also very inconsistent with accuracy. Example, when he missed a wide open Perriman for a TD on an under thrown ball that almost got intercepted. Things like this happen every single week with Jameis and I'm not sure it will ever change. If our coaching is what they say it is then maybe they can make Jameis a great QB. He does some great things but, it seems like he really needs to work on the basics of being a QB. If he doesn't improve this year then we must move on IMO.
