I always felt like Bowers got the short end of the stick with Schiano. There's no reason DTN should have ever been starting over him. Yes Bowers hasn't lived up to potential but DEs is one of those positions you get better the more you play.
Apparently he feels he needs to be taught how to rush the passer. Probably pissed that the 5th round draft pick was out played him

If you read between the lines even the best players have been hinting the same sentiment. Now they can express thier feelings freely because they do not have to live in fear of criticizing Greg Schiano, the football nazi. Thats the difference.
probably referring to the fact that this scheme sucked. all he kept telling him was toes on the line when he was trying to get better. im beginning to think more and more this yr was a big flop and although he did care about his players....the product didnt work well. and it wont ever work in a passing league where u have guys putting up 40- points a game. schematiclly i just think the guy was not that smart. you dont put defensive ends chasing the fastest guys on the field. our corners still looked horrible. maybe banks will get better with lovie too. all in all we will have a full offseason and time to get things going. i still think we need a qb though

He's a bum until proven otherwise.I'm sure Schiano rigged Bowers' season just he did Freeman's. Gholston didn't seem to have a problem.
As a player, your film and your statements in the media (including social media) are your resume. I don't think this was a smart move on his behalf but then neither was carrying a gun through the airport...
Bowers needs to STFU. He couldn't rush the passer straight up. Until he can do that he has no business flapping his gums.
Hopefully he is a little more motivated to succeed.
Lovie... Do your homework on this guy and clean out the rest of his slacker buddies. They'll get you fired, too.
