He had only two carries in Sunday's loss, and was averaging just 2.15 YPC over his last six games. Tate's two-year free-agent deal from March contained no guaranteed money beyond this season. The Browns will establish a two-back committee going forward, with Crowell sliding ahead of West lately. Tate figures to draw interest from multiple teams, with the Colts a potential fit after losing Ahmad Bradshaw.
