Koetter is on record that he wants a QB that is smart and can process information quickly, a tough QB that can take hits, and a QB that protects the football. Given the comparisons to Matt Ryan, is it that much of a reach to see Glennon starting the season?1. We cut McCown, instead of trading Glennon. This speaks volumes. McClown would clearly be a better mentor and Veteran back up. But in my opinion the FO still sees Glennon as a viable starting option.2. Glennon fits the Koetter mold. He has taken a beating and managed to stay healthy, has a great TD/INT ratio and proven to protect the ball. And lastly all reports about his smarts have been glowing.3. The Glennon and Matt Ryan comparisons. I still want a QB with the first pick, but the deeper I dive, the more I think Glennon starts. If so how would the two QB's handle riding pine? Maybe 10lbtoast would like to be to bet on it?
