This is the question that will undoubtedly be answered by tomorrow afternoon. Personally, I would like to see the Bucs stick it out with Schiano. Not because I think Schiano has done a good job, or even that I like him, but for the sake of continuity. This team has had zero continuity since the firing of Gruden. After 5 years of 'rebuilding' we finally have a decent roster. I'm afraid if we start from scratch with another coaching staff we will lose any semblance of organization that we have now. Many of you will argue that there is no organization, and I hear you. It's been a tumultuous year that I'm not sure anyone saw coming. Many people say Greg is just another my way or the highway arsehole. I implore you to look around the league. Do you really think the Harbaughs or even the Ryans don't look like complete asses on the field? They treat the refs like crap. They don't just get away with it because they win games. It's sad that Chip Kelly got away from us, because he is taking the Eagles to the playoffs in his first year. However, the Eagles are a well built organization because Andy Reid was there for 15 seasons, and I think that sort of continuity is what makes it easy for a coach like Kelly to come in and have success. Kelly had an explosive roster placed in his lap. Simply put, if we keep starting from scratch we aren't going to go anywhere. We simply don't have enough of a core where a new guy is going to come in and be cool with our roster. Our roster is decent, but far from great. Everyone here is sick of rebuilding, and so am I, but I think we have to stay the course on this one.Just my two cents and you're more than welcome to disagree with me. I won't take it personally. Everyone here needs to calm down and get a little bit of perspective on the issue at hand. We are FAR from the league's most embarrasing franchise. Not even close. Over the last 20 years I would even say we have had it pretty damned good compared to some other teams. That is not to sell the current situation short. This team was DECIMATED after Gruden left. Straight up scorched earth policy Sh*t. I think all of us were thinking pie in the sky to even imagine us as a contender at any point in the past 5 years. And hear me out when I say this, even with a new coach I don't think we will be making waves for at least another couple of years. At the end of the day, we all just want to see a respectable football team that fights hard on Sundays.Enjoy the playoffs everyone and forget about the Bucs, its shaping up to be a great postseason.

I think schiano's days are numbered here.Too much turmoil, too many excuses, and too many losses. Plus, the fans hate him, and would send a bad message to them about their will to win, or lack thereof. They may not want to fire him, but I believe schiano has done enough that they have no choice now. Too much has happened under schiano's watch to sell it to anyone, especially the fans

Continuity is great. Usually, continuity is achieved when you have the right people. I don't think we have the right people. Rebuilding? Been doing that for a long time now. Still significant holes in roster. We are now something like 55-78 in last ten years. No playoff wins. Nearly every decision made this year was wrong. I don't know what fans really have to look forward to.

This year i wanted to see a Disciplined team, That Improved from Last Season, And would be in it when playing GOOD Teams.. I don't think it was to much to ask with how much was spent on the offseason.  We have the worst offense in the NFL, Top 3 in Penalty's. We Can't stop anybody. We took a step back  this year and i don't have the confidence in Schiano/Dominik or his Scheme to bring in the players and coach them up to where we need to be. to be Successful I'm going to continue riding my NEW Coach train

I hope he leaves for Penn St and gets his contract bought out so that the Glazers have an easy decision.

The answer? There isn't much to look forward to.

As someone that would like to see Schiano replaced I don't see how any rational person could deny there is an arguement to be made to keep him.  The first half of the season was eaten up by the Freeman saga and MRSA.  People always downplay the effect MRSA had on the team.  I imagine it was huge.  Think about how you would feel if the person next to you at work had head lice.  You would freak out.  You would have the itchies and scratchies something fierce.  Every person in your family would be made to check your head.  Your heart would skip a beat every time a gnat flew by.  Now imagine the guy next to you has a contagious bacterial infection that could derail your entire season and maybe even kill you.  Yeah, you'd be a little distracted.  Even factoring in those things we were in several of those games. The second half of the season we went 4-4.  One of those losses came when we took Seattle (the top seed in our conference) to overtime.  This is while having most of our skill players on IR and a rookie QB starting.I also don't think anyone can deny that Schiano has an eye for talent.  The 2 drafts under his watch have been excellent.  We have also done well in free agency.  Nobody is at fault for Nicks' foot falling off and if he was healthy our line would be much better.  Goldson was brought in to give our defense attitude and he did that.  He has also shown to be a good teammate.  He could have lashed back at Freeman and his camp, but he didn't.  He got a lot of heat (still does) for playing Revis in zone when Revis actually wasn't healthy enough to play in man much.  There were many times he could have thrown somebody under the bus to save his own skin, but he never did.  There is some class hidden in him.My reasoning for wanting him replaced is mainly to do with questionable playcalling (there are not words to describe how much I hate seeing a draw on 2 and 20) and his apparent stubbornness.  The long developing plays when our oline is playing like crap and being 3rd in the league in panalties are just icing on the cake.  I have said many times who I want in his place (Lovie Smith), but I can't deny there is an arguement to be made to keep him.  It is entirely possible that with a little more experience he might be an excellent coach. If he was willing to step down to DC I would do that in a heartbeat.

That's a load.... We were 0-3 when Schiano ditched Freeman. We went 0-5 with Schiano's hand picked QB. Hell, we should have been 2-1 under Freeman had the defense had a spine. The last 3 games showed how much of a difference there is between NFL coaches and Schiano.

1- A person does not have to be on the field to be a distraction and/or cause problems2- That hand picked QB was a rookie that did not get starter reps in the offseason3- Are you unfamiliar with the word 'and'?

I understand that Freeman had nothing to do with the 0-5 that followed his jettison. Schiano owns that 0-8 proudly.
