This is the question that will undoubtedly be answered by tomorrow afternoon. Personally, I would like to see the Bucs stick it out with Schiano. Not because I think Schiano has done a good job, or even that I like him, but for the sake of continuity. This team has had zero continuity since the firing of Gruden. After 5 years of 'rebuilding' we finally have a decent roster. I'm afraid if we start from scratch with another coaching staff we will lose any semblance of organization that we have now. Many of you will argue that there is no organization, and I hear you. It's been a tumultuous year that I'm not sure anyone saw coming. It's sad that Chip Kelly got away from us, because he is taking the Eagles to the playoffs in his first year. However, the Eagles are a well built organization because Andy Reid was there for 15 seasons, and I think that sort of continuity is what makes it easy for a coach like Kelly to come in and have success. Kelly had an explosive roster placed in his lap.

Funny you preach continuity and then (by extension) mention two coaches/teams which made the playoffs this year with a first-year HC (Eagles with Kelly and Chiefs with Reid ... plus throw in SD too). Also funny you say we can't risk it because we have a good roster and then mention the only reason the Eagles "survived" a new HC was because they had good talent.I would think the Eagles and Chiefs (talent loaded teams which didn't win any games the prior year) are a much better example for what this team could do next year with a new HC than any "continuity" example you could mention.Continuity doesn't work if you are continuously stupid.

Schiano should be "promoted" to head of scouting.  I think he is good at evaluating individual player talent but can't coach/teach that individual talent into a productive or cohesive unit, nor is he a good game day manager.
