Kenneth Gainwell signed on a 2-yr deal.
mid move. $7M a year for this guy? ehh
i mean i guess we needed a White replacement so ok
Dude Gainwell is damn good. This is an expensive but good signing
Gainwell is legit another pass catcher out of back and good pass pro
Gainwell and Anzalone are very solid additions. I don't love Otton but the options available weren't great.

Gainwell isn't that good as he is very ordinary and the Bucs overpaid for a veteran RB.

Don't like the signings of Gainwell or Otton. Both are just ordinary and the Bucs overpaid for both.
Anazalone is the only one that moves the needle.

Tucker is cheaper and bigger guy in the red zone. Don't like Gainwell at all and he is a downgrade from White in terms of size and speed.

did we get the Otton numbers yet?
I thought Gainwell was voted MVP by his teammates? not exactly ordinary
Bucs overpaid badly for Gainwell. Not a good sign IMO.

definitely not good with limited funds but I think Allgeier just got 6 per
I like the gainwell pick up, could have been whites money but he burnt his bridge.
I know I’m still thinking in terms in the old salary cap days of salary but it’s more than doubled (144m->301m) since 2015. So in reference a 7 mil contract is like a 3.5m contract back in 2015 and a 10m contract is 5m. So positions and contracts are based on percentages of the cap
Gainwell was definitely a beneficiary playing with Aaron Rodgers in the passing game. I will give Gainwell credit for being a steady eddy with rushing throughout his career, but beyond that he really isn't worth overpaying for. Is Gainwell that much better than White or Tucker? Not really and in some circumstances I think Tucker and White do better as inside runners.
But the Steelers had no other WR other than Metcalf which is why they traded for Pittman Jr this off season.

Good point. My beef wasn't with Gainwell, as he's a good 3rd down back. My beef was the contract.

I think everyone is massively discounting Gainwell. I know he's expensive but Bucky isn't big so we need someone that can step in and still be explosive + good on third down.
Saying someone benefited from an aging Aaron Rodgers is crazy to me. Gainwell was good in Philly too.
Mark me down as a B for this signing and it would be an A if we didn't pay so much.
Anzalone is an A+ signing imo... Every team should be required to have a white LB with long hair. Give him a neck collar and we are so natty.
