I do like Shazier. If we can recoup a 3rd round pick, he be a great selection. Yawin Smallwood and Shayne Skov are interesting guys too.

Today is Mason's birthday. He's letting things like this thread slide.

Apologies if you're reading this Mason. Didn't say you needed to be cut, just move a liiittttle to your right. lol  @JDouble.... Seriously doubt Shazier makes it to the 3rd, be really surprised if he's even available when the Bucs pick in the 2nd. If they want him they'll probably have to do some moving, as of now 7 would be really high for him or most LB's (though I have seen him rated as high as 15). Understand they've had a few conversations with Lamin Barrow too, who's a decent LB but not the hitter that Shazier is. Shazier did well at the combine and is expected to run the 40 and do field drills at his pro-day on the 7th. Would expect to hear some chatter after that.

Diick Butkus stops my Mason Foster's house each evening to give Mason a foot rub and help him  put on his slippers.

Mack for MLB.

Mack for anything

Yup. In as early as 2 seasons, Mack would be up the with Bowman/Willis as one of the best ILBs in the league and also has the athleticism to put his hand in the dirt and edge rush on occasion.

Smallwood would be an upgrade for sure. Skov is pretty much a Foster clone though.

I love Shazier and I really do believe he's just another Lavonte David

Dude.Nobody is Lavonte David.

Ok.... a fast instinctive linebacker, who's gonna drop because of size concerns,I watched some games of LD when he was at Nebraska and Shazier looks to be the exact same guy in games, he's also gonna have the same "undersized" label that LD had which allowed him to drop to the second round. Shazier just plays with a mean streak.Led his team in tackles with 134 tackles 6 sacks  #2 in nation in TFL with 22.5Wherever Shazier goes he can make an impact immediately because he plays fast and smart like Lavonte

I want the Bucs to draft Shazier badly. I'm more than happy to have them trade back multiple times, if possible and take him in the 20 range. If not, trade back a few spot and then trade up for him with the picks receive from trading back. He is going to be a great player and just what we need.

IMO Foster won't be the MLB for much longer.  I also agree with leaving Lavonte exactly where he is now.
