500+ yards of offense, only 3 points. Wow. I’d honestly be surprised if it’s not the most yards ever for a team that scored less than 17 points.
The worst part about it, is that we are now officially out of playoff contention, yet tanking won’t do a thing, because no one player is going to help this team. I don’t care what #1 overall pick you put on this team. Today we failed in a million different ways in all areas of the game. Special teams, offense, and defense.
Is it coaching? I honestly don’t think so. Mike Evans drop in the end zone, bad snap that knocks us out of scoring position, missed chip shot field goals, flukey fumble against Rodgers. This has nothing to do with coaching. That’s the hardest part about this team. You can’t really put your finger on the problem. One game the offense is all time great and the defense is all time bad. The next game tne defense is great but flukey turnovers on offense kill us. How do you even fix this?
