I wouldn't draft a WR in R1 (unless MH Jr. falls) but I would take Brock Bowers in the top 10. He's a stud TE that block, catch, and run like a gazelle.
More pressing needs. iOL, QB, TE, LB, OLB, and SS should be ahead of the priority list
Mike will be 31 and Chris will be 28 in week 1 next season.
We have absolutely nothing behind them other than some really good hope. Watch one of these 2 get injured and then tell me it’s not a need.
WR is a very big need for the Bucs. Jason has been missing on d-line round 1 picks with Hall and JTS. That’s the biggest issue with our drafts lately, but yes we absolutely need to revamp our WR talent with some young stud.

brock Bowers would be a fantastic pick for this team
The Bucs don't need to spend high draft choices on either a WR or RB. The most glaring need is some road grading offensive linemen. The O'line has been better than last year at pass blocking but is still woeful in run blocking. A shutdown corner is also needed.

we just locked up Dean and Davis with big money contracts each of the last 2 offseasons. If CB is a position of need than this team just effed up by signing these 2 guys.

Can't really argue with this take....Personally I feel like the team may have effed up, they are both so hot and cold, and rarely at the same time as the other. Now part of that could be the scheme. They are both at their best in M2M, however Bowles for whatever reason doesn't play to their strengths as he should. I know the defense improved when Todd changed it over to more zone on the backend last year, but that clearly is not working this year as other teams are just using zone beater plays. I attribute this back to Todd's slow to adjust nature he has demonstrated over the past few years. This team does however need a ballhawking shutdown corner.

Let's look at power house Eagles draft history first 3 rounds
2023 - DL Jalen Carter, OLB Nolan Smith, OL Tyler Steen, DB Sydney Brown
2022 - DT Jordan Davis, OL Cam Jurgens, LB Nakobe Dean
2021 - WR Devonta Smith, OL Landon Dickerson, DL Milton Williams
and the reason they drafted Devonta Smith was because they did not have a WR. Believe they traded for AJ Brown in 2022.
Bucs have so many other needs that they should take a page out of Eagles books and focus on trenches.
If it aint marvin harrison i dont want him in the first round, that guys ceiling is hall of famer with a floor of probowl receiver
The most glaring need is some road grading offensive linemen.
This. All day. This
Then Licht better stop looking for athletic tackles but roadgrading guards

Also noted those guys are battle tested dawgs from the SEC who know what physical football is all about. You want physical trench play you go to the schools where there is physical trench play. And our preached to be violent
If AJ Brown and Smith get hurt the Eagles have nobody. The injury question can be played to just about every other NFL team. Mike and Chris both at worst have 2 more years of high caliber ball left. That will buy us time to make moves when Evans is 33, and Chris is 30.Mike will be 31 and Chris will be 28 in week 1 next season.

A good plan, this is.
I prefer trenches or Penix.
But if a really good wr falls the 2nd round like Franklin or Odunze, hell yeah we trade up or do what it takes.
