He was the first interview for the Texans as well. It kinda make him look desperate to get a HC job.
Are you serious or is this a joke?
According to CBSSports, Lovie is also interested in the Detroit job...
Maybe, but if the reports of strong mutual interest with the Bucs are true (and there's too much smoke for there not to be a fire on those rumors), he may be holding that job out as (1) a fall back and/or (2) a negotiating chip to get more authority with the Bucs.

Dude, there's only 32 of those jobs. You take what interviews you get, especially with a team like Houston, which has strong personnel and ownership. Plus, he interviewed before it was clear the Bucs job was coming open. Also, he was the only guy available to interview because he wasn't working for another team. Not sure where you're getting the sense of desperation. If anything, Smith is in the driver's seat for a job.

If he doesn't already have the Bucs job, Lovie will be #1 on the list for several others. There's no desperation whatsoever. He's also turned down college HC positions... that's not desperation, that's high demand. The guy is a quality HC. The Bucs could do a LOT worse. A lot.

What?No, really, what?

All of the twitter "leaks" reek of the same thing...
It may sound silly, but I think all of that is Lovie trying to get in tune with the fanbase. He has to know there is some sketchiness between the Bucs and the fans, and he also knows there are questions floating around him. I think he already has the job and is trying to help reconnect the team to the fanbase and sell himself. Its actually a really smooth plan imo.
LOL @ "will be" the first.
I will be quite put out if they don't hire Lovie. So DTG- any cryptic prophesies or opinions on the GM spot? You know these guys better than we do.

Nah, not really. Since the Glazers like to hire a HC and let the HC pick the GM, as long as they get someone who has quality experience and is compatible with the new HC, that's all I can ask for. A whole lot of a GM's success has to do with how well he integrates with the HC.
"The Bucs could do a LOT worse. A lot."That is an unbelievably bad sales pitch, DTG. Hope he's not saying that in interviews."Coach, why should we hire you? What can you bring to the table?""Well for starters you could do a lot worse."*awkward silence*" Get out."

What twitter leaks?
The twitter leaks concerning a possible staff...Especially concerning to me in the name Marinelli...considering his still employed by the Dallas Cowboys and all...Don't get me wrong...the staff seems like a dream staff, but there is a great deal of hope involved in that staff, I believe.
Who leaked it?
Who leaked it?
My guess...agents
Lovie's desperate and nobody wants him...Are these clowns serious?!?!
Needless to say, most of the Lovie hate is coming from the Schiano apologists. Big surprise. 4-12 was good enough for them with Schiano, but his successor better damn well be perfect!!!!
