Seems most on the board are in agreement that Jabrill Peppers should not be drafted by the Bucs. At least not in the first round.
But reports have surfaced that the Bucs did meet with the Michigan safety.
I watched more tape on him than ever before and it's opened my eyes a lot.
Reminds me a lot of Bob Sanders and even Troy Polamalu.
I've changed my stance on Peppers. I am confident he can and will play safety in the pros. I think he would be a big time difference maker for us.
He would play strong safety and return kicks [pretty electrifying at that] but also can play Sam linebacker in obvious run situations as Conte or Wilcox subs in at SS [Tandy would the starter at FS].
Maybe not my first option, but I can no longer say I'd be upset with the pick. If you haven't watched the film, and you're just drinking the haterade on the kid, watch his film against Colorado or Michigan State or Wisconsin or Hawaii, etc...
