Defenses didn't blitz Manziel much. They held back and played contain. I think this made Matthews look a lot better than he really is. I'm no expert at scouting OL, but I hope we stay away from him.
He's at least a quality prospect at RT. I would want more than that in the top 10 but I doubt he will be a bust or anything.
I'd be disappointed if we drafted an OT at #7...but I personally would prefer Robinson over Matthews.

This.I don't want OT that high but if we do pick one I hope it's Greg Robinson.
I admittedly am no good at spotting good OL.....but I do know that anytime you are talking about the trenches you want nasty, powerful, and violent men. Matthews is constantly referred to as finess. That's not a good thing in my book. I think Greg Robinson is a beast though.

I would say he's a technician but he doesn't seem to have that nasty streak like Robinson.
His dad, uncle, and cousin all made NFL all-pro. I think Matthews is the safest pick in this draft. Nobody is 100% guaranteed but I think he is pretty close. The only player in this draft I would prefer would be Clowney. If Matthews falls to 7 I would be super happy.Mack in free agency at center.Dot and Matthews (or Robinson) at tacklesZuttah and Penn (still think he would make a fantastic guard) at guards There is a line that could get the job done.

I would be shocked if Mack leaves Cleveland.
Don't know why you guys are hating on Matthews. I like Robinson, but Matthews should be way better in pass pro. If the Falcons do draft Khalil Mack, I'd rather have Matthews than Robinson trying to block him. I don't usually consider blood lines but that is one name you respect them in, and count on a player who is going to be really good for a really long time.
Idk...i feel like most drafts there's always a run on either OT or QB in the top 10. Maybe this year there is a run on both which would leave us with our choice of watkins or Mack/Barr/Clowney (although doubtful).

Something I heard on NFL radio the other day is that the Franchise tag for O-Lineman is the same for all position, with the LT prices bringing up the averages. There is a really good chance the Browns tag Ward and not Mack in part because of that. We'll see.

I dont know about that rule (if it is one), but I did see Mack's tag # would be around $11M. For a team with $45M in cap space, I dont expect them to lose either, but def not Mack.
No center is worth $11 mil
Hard to imagine Mack wanting to stay in Cleveland, but their O-line is a strength so I don't see them letting him go without a fight.
Well, quite honestly, I'd be okay with an offensive lineman at #7, but the guy I'm really starting to like is CJ Mosley. Mosley is a young Hardy Nickerson and would really bring some thump to the middle of the defense and then we could move Foster to SLB, plus Mosley seems to be good in coverage as well. If the Bucs really want to build a championship defense, I'd put Mosley behind McCoy and next to David. It'd be AWESOME.Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoep15cF_aU JMO.
