Fact .449% winning percentage. pre-Brady? Mark D style. Post Brady? Trash.
If you are too stupid to see the correlation...that's on you losers. Jason is a flash in the pan GM...ONCE in a generation...if you are too stupid to realize that...well...you are probably a loser as well. Lightning already struck...smdh...embarrassing
creative troll . . well done . .
(let me call every one . . . um . . "stupid")
(and ooh. . . derp . . "losers")
did Jason Licht sleep with your wife?
i hate when he does that. Guy goes drafting kickers and developmental back up QBs in the second round, then he goes committing adultry
You guys really think that? I must be in the minority but I don't know that's true. I have been wrong plenty but I am not so enamored with him and the job he has done. And I am asking in earnest and not trolling - just being honest about my thoughts. I really don't think he's been that great.Licht would get another GM job before ink was dry on his walking papers.Neither at their current position. If Bowles is the biggest problem why couldn’t Licht get the Bucs in the playoffs with Lovie, Koetter and Arians before Brady?
Licht and Bowles are fired tomorrow.
Who gets a job first (at their current position)?
Exactly.

I am not enamored with him either. But, he's held in high regard around the league and with owners.
He would get another GM gig in short order. Todd not so much.
I'll wager any amount...that when we fire Jason Licht for being the loser that he is...he will not get a GM job immediately after...I have $1k or more ready for any of you losers. Bet it up. Put your money where your loser mouth is...smdh...losers...

first of all, this bet likely wont even be "achievable" until Licht is fired which could be years from now. Secondly, how do we lock in this bet and actually ensure integrity. Charles - for all i know, your name could be something else. Finally - define immediately - can we have that mean 1 month? That seems to mean immediately for me given interview process, etc. As opposed to Bowles who will be retired or promoted to Front office position at best.
I like to view Licht in phases:
Licht -2014 to 2017 - Not great, borderline about to get fired. Sure, had some good picks with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Ali Marpet but the rest pretty much disastrous. Not much great to say about this 4 season stretch. Finished in last place in 3 out of the 4 years. Went through 2 coaches.
Licht - 2018-2021 - Pretty darn good. Improvement in record and division standing each and ever year, won a Superbowl, and had a franchise best 13 wins the following year. Sure Brady was the main reason we won, but the 2018 to 2020 drafts formed the roster needed to compete and win - Vea, Jones, Davis, Cappa, Whitehead, White, SMB, Dean, Edwards, Nelson, Scotty Miller, Wirfs, AWJ. All of these guys contributed to our 2020 run in some form or another. Pretty solid drafts. 2021 draft was a disaster but this 4 year stretch was Licht in his prime and what many who support him are hanging their caps on
Licht - 2022 to 2025 - Above average. 2 exceeds expectations seasons sandwiched by two disappointing seasons all with a coach he didn't have any choice in selecting. Bowles is a good guy but isn't even in the top 20 in terms of head coaches. He's gotten to the point where he cant be effective DC or HC and it's holding the team back. If this is Licht's choice solely, then yeah, get Licht out of here but if his hands are tied, that is a different discussion. This 4 year stretch with 3 playoff appearances is one of the most successful in Tampa history, second to only the 1997 -2002 stretch with 5 appearances in 6 years. He has done this with a head coach that is bottom tier. If we had the proper OC and DCs this year, this team likely wins some of those winnable games down the stretch and is looking at an 11-6 season. Licht's drafts from 2021 on are remained to be seen as looks like we have alot of misses but how much of that is not having proper coaching of the talent?
Lichts arrow is certainly on the way down with many of us who like him, remembering that 2018 to 2021 time period, but his seat is getting warmer and he more than anyone better hope we get a McDaniels time in here to fix the offense.

I'd wager any amount of money you need to release some of this anger (if you catch my drift).
Might I suggest Wild Things with Denise Richards?
Licht prime years happened to be when Brady was here?
Wow...color me shocked. Yeah, the arrow is pointing down since Brady left. Weird.
Color me shocked again. Thanks for admitting that he hasn't lived up to the hype. He rode Brady's coattails into 12 years...now 13
45% losing percentage. That sucks and nice to see people finally seeing the LICHT.
He totally gets let go when Bowles is fired. He's been a disaster on the defensive side of the ball. And paying Teddy, Reddick and Godwin all that money.
It's time for new blood. It's going to happen.
At least we're not the Saints, right? We can always have that to be thankful for.

Lol. He's not betting anything.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's shown the door with Todd.
But, as we could see the past 2 off-seasons, the Glazers aren't serious about being an actual contender.
So, who knows.
roaches never like the light shined on them
I suppose the reason I thought the way I do is he landed this gig because of Bruce Arians (or it seemed that way). Then I did some research on him and I found out a slew about him I did not know. He has a pretty long and stellar resume including extensive time with both New England and Philly. I don't think I ever knew that about him. I only recall first seeing him with Arizona. So I stand corrected. He would in fact be on a lot of teams radar if he were to be fired here. You guys really think that? I must be in the minority but I don't know that's true. Now that said, I still think he's honestly did a pretty average job here. I haven't agreed with a lot of his picks during drafts - but that has other influences behind it and not just his decision. And I know from history sometimes the Glazers get real stingy with the FA money. I think the expectation was he is and will always be great and it just hasn't panned out that way.
