Draft Manziel!Take a real chance at a real franchise QB. Roll em! Sick and tired of waiting for that elite QB.
Sounds like you should be hoping for Bridgewater. Youd get a real franchise QB with way less concerns about whether he'll be able do what he did in college at the pro level.
Yup. (Hate)And Pesi, I am simply not a fan of Bridge. Never really have been. I liken him to Tony Eason. But wouldn't lose hope if the Bucs drafted him, either. A chance has to be taken at improving the most important tool in the shed.
Anybody who wants to draft Manziel has to like him because of what he can do rushing the ball himself. How can you deny the concern about his ability to rush the ball like that in the Pros though? If you say its not all about his rushing but he's really accurate, can throw on the run and extend plays, well then sure Id agree with you, but Bridewater does all that but even better.
I like Manziels entire game. It isn't based off this or that. It is a culmination. Look fellas, I get it. It is merely my two pennies that Manziel is a baller. Don't like my opinion? Sorry. Can't help ya.
Would a team that had a drop-back QB and went for the wet hen... also need another QB?
Really Garcia? You thrived on chaos. Manziel is Garcia-like. I guess you aren't an advocate of yourself either. It is weird listening to a guy who wasn't fundamentally the best rag on a guy who shares some same characteristics.
I've been saying for some time now that Manziel is Garcia 2.0........and that works for me.
Ok, fine. I can live with Manziel being Garcia 2.0 but, remember, Garcia went undrafted and it took him 7 years to become NFL Garcia. People are talking about Manziel being a top draft pick. Garcia's point is you don't reach in the first round to select a QB like that. The only problem I see with Manziel is that any team who drafts him will try to "fix" him rather than let him play the way that has made him successful and that will probably severely slow his growth.

2 pennies is about what calling someone a "Baller" is worth. Tebow was a Baller. Frankly Blane Gabbert was a Baller in college. I'm really not sure that ANY QB who gets drafted did "ball out" in college unless being a Baller means something other than being productive and winning games.
You answered your own question Dal. Kid is a baller. Faster than saying he is a good football player I suppose. Which he is, to date. No disputing that. Kaepernick is looking petty decent.

Huge difference though. Kap could put Johnny is his back pocket.

Lol true
Freeman failed because he liked to party. From the looks of it Manziel likes to party even more than Freeman. Are you sure you want to waste a draft pick on a dude that will spend more time with his head in the toilet than in the film room? I know I wouldn't.
What became of Joe Hamilton?

He's a recruiter for Georgia Tech.
I see his career following a Mike Vick type trajectory.Make some exciting plays , get injured , make some bad plays , get injured , get thrown in jail for doing something stupid , come back from jail , get injured , make less exciting plays , get injured , make more bad plays , get injured , rinse and repeat.

Freeman didn't fail because he liked to party, he failed because he was a drug induced recluse who would rather sit around and pet his snakes than pick up a playbook or fix his game.
