Agreed, very subtle, im my previous job I would have called it subclinical meaning unperceptable aside from those with a trained eye.  Yeah, maybe a tad, but he's still the best player at that position currently in the NFL, he has been for years already with the most doubters and haterz, how many probowls has DAVID been to? 1....1....1.  The best "Weakside" LBer we've seen since DB, and he gets 1 nod!!! Blasphemous.  If what happened to W3! this year wasnt ALREADY ENOUGH, just remember LVD has been grinding quietly for years and years.  And the best part is, he's not even done yet, he's still at 99% of his prime RIGHT NOW, and he's coming downhill.

Here's the reality of it.

LVD has no social media. He has no real online presence. Plays for small market team.

Brady was an actual blessing to LVD (and Mike Evans), as it actually gave him some proper media coverage/recognition. Not to mention the Super Bowl ring that "SHOULD" help LVD get to Canton.

But sadly, this fanbase is also one of his biggest hurdles.

Look at this board alone. @pennywise was one of the most vocal posters that LVD was past his prime/old/not effective. He also claimed that Devin White was worth "multiple 1st round picks".

Sadly, there's a huge portion of this fanbase that has overhyped White, while at the same time, downplaying what LVD has done for the last decade.

Perfect DH.  MIC!

                       DROP!!

                               POST!!!

Agreed on ALL POINTS!!!!  Keep up the good work man.  The only wrinkle for me is White.  Like 70% if the time, he's below average, but when he's on fire, like that full on focus White, hes a BEAST!!!  Our playoff run in 2021, WHITE was Monstrous.  We'll see "who" shows up for the stinkin IGGLES day after tomorrow.  Could be his make or break rally for his spot here with the Bucs org.  We'll see.

He’s had some great draft picks

and some awful ones

but every gm can say that

overall he’s been good imho

4 straight playoff appearances

3 straight division titles

Super Bowl

can’t ask for much more!

he’s done a really good job and even more so from the owners perspective because he built a great front office operation etc. He’s allowed the Glazers to mostly just sit back

Multiple things can be true.

1. Licht did a very good job putting this team together.

2. He is a disaster with cap management.

Agreed, but #1 directly impacts the results on the field, so I assume most people focus on that.

And while #2 might make #1 tougher it does not seem to ultimately have much of an impact the results.

This season is an example, right? Into the playoff even though we have all kinds of dead money, riding it out etc.

He's gotten a lot better, he learned how to evaluate lineman(anthony collins/donald penn) and now he has a really strong coaching staff that can develop his picks

Licht’s dream is Evans finishing his career as a Buccaneer, pointing to Ring of Honor and Pro Football Hall of Famers Rondé Barber and Derrick Brooks, who spent their entire careers with the Bucs. It is possible with the team no longer carrying the burden of $75 million in dead cap money like in 2023.”

Who's quote is that?  Evans could sign elsewhere and he will still make ROH.  If Evans is with another team it will be because the Bucs aren't even close.  I don't expect that to happen, but I think his spot in the ROH is pretty secure.

apologies. Usually include that. The quote is Jenna Laine but she is expanded on this from Licht

It would mean everything for the franchise, ownership, all of us,” Licht said of Evans spending his whole career with the Bucs. “Mike and I — our relationship is still the same and has never changed. And we’ve got a mutual understanding of when we’re going to begin talking.” …
