He's a smaller faster version of Brett Favre. A team without a QB would be foolish to pass him up.
Without the Brett Farve arm.

I'm not sure anyone has Favre's arm.....but arm strength certainly isn't a weakness of Manziels'.
Its certainly not a strength.
Wasn't MarineBuc a Schiano honk?
Wasn't you the release Lavonte David honk?
love it....

I call bullsh!t. Show me a situation where he didn't have enough arm strength to make a throw. You won't find one.Dude is running around throwing from wierd positions most the time so he doesn't get to set his back foot. It's often times all upper body. Only way you can make those throws is arm strength. And when he does have time in the pocket to set his feet and throw deep....he does it very well. If you wanna question his size or ability to read defenses...go right ahead. Those are valid concerns. But when you start talking about things like lack of arm strength, you are reaching for faults that are not there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTaBAPD5x6A

His arm strength is not in question - his size and his ability to adapt to the NFL is. He's not worth a first round pick and after the combine teams will see this.
His arm strength is not in question
Uhhh...no. Chace and youngone just made comments about his arm strength like 5 posts up. Try and keep up ;)

Is there not an area between it being a "strength" and a "weakness"? Call bull sh*t all you want, I don't see great arm strength. Adequate? Sure, but not enough to classify it as a strength.

Count me in total agreement with you here. I don't see it as strength, perhaps not a liability, but not what I would ever tout as a strength.
Part of me hopes we don't draft him just so that the threads about him will end.
"Dude is running around throwing from wierd positions most the time so he doesn't get to set his back foot."With defenders like JDub, who needs enemies?
His arm is certainly not strong...it's just adequate.Gotta love when Jdud puts those Mancrush glasses on. He starts convincing himself he sees things that aren't really there. All for the purpose of building up his guy. It's why he sucks as a scout.

There is definitely a large grey area between rocket arm and Chad Pennington.....but a big part of Manziel's game is making crazy off balanced throws, often times across the body in the opposite direction he is running. You simply can't consistently make those throws without a big arm. If his arm wasn't a strength, I don't believe he could play the way he plays.
