(Getty Images)Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel was involved in a reported incident with a fan at the AT&T Byron Nelson PGA tournament Saturday, but his agent told the Northeast Ohio Media Group the altercation was handled appropriately.Irving (Texas) police spokesman James McLellan told the Northeast Ohio Media Group that an 18-year-old fan began harassing Manziel near the Four Seasons' pool, which led to Manziel throwing a water bottle at the man. One of Manziel's friends stepped in to intervene on his behalf and hotel security also got involved, McLellan said.At first, it appeared that the person Manziel threw the water bottle at was a friend. Later, the Irving PD and Manziel's agent noted it was someone harassing Manziel.
Police were called and officers spoke to both parties. Neither decided to press charges. Police did not detect any sign of intoxication with Manziel, McLellan said.
