Well that led to many discussions about how awkward it would be to have Maziel’s reps walk through One Buc Place once again.Because of that, a Buccaneer draft that includes drafting the talented Aggies quarterback may not be in Tampa Bay’s plans.Bradenton Herald’s Alan Dell brings up a good point is his article. The conspiracy theorists reason that the Glazer family, which owns the Bucs, does not want to deal with Burkhardt because of Freemangate.Burkhardt accused the Bucs of leaking personal medical information about Freeman, which sparked an investigation and eventually led to the quarterback’s exile. That is something that many may have disregarded once the news of Manziel’s agent signing broke. It’s not far-fetched to think of Dell’s reasoning as being valid and those that think otherwise are unaware of the severity of the situation that happened between Freeman and the Bucs. But at the same time, it’s the NFL draft. You never know what will happen.
If we draft him, he could just ditch his agent. It's a rookie wage scale with guidelines so it's not like that guy can get him a deal that another agent can't.
Freeman may ultimately save this franchise after all. :)
I dont know if it really matters as it is already been reported that Cleveland is enamored with Manziel. This kinds doesn't make sense as they havent even hired a coach but Cleveland desperately needs something to infuse excitement into their fanbase so I do think in the end they take the risk and draft him
It's cool pre-draft talk but I agree....I somehow doubt he makes it to pick 7 and I really doubt the Bucs would move up for him.

I agree, wish Manziel could be a buc but it sure seems like he's a lock for Cleveland.

Makes a ton of sense for Cleveland.

Schiano and Dominik were fired. Agents will be dealing with a totally new regime in Tampa Bay. Moving on.

Same owners....have they moved on?
Exactly Bucko40. Dominick and Schiano are gone. That agent isn't dealing with those nitwits anymore.

I seriously do NOT get how anyone looks at this train wreck of immaturity - and sees someone they would want to spend MILLIONS upon MILLIONS on?Does he have talent? Sure. Especially if you want to run a spread offense where the most technical aspect of the game, is when things breakdown the QB runs around until someone gets open - or sprints past everyone else on the field for a first down. All 5' 10" and 189lbs of him...Russell Wilson, he ain't.We may draft a QB, we may even draft one that ran a spread in college (they're hard to miss), but thankfully, Johnny Football will be l-o-n-g gone by #7.

+1Since either Dom or Rutgers (or both) determined how they were going to "handle" Freeman (and his agent) - it probably only reinforced to the owners why the FORMER GM & HC, had to be fired.

Not sure if serious...Do you think the Glazers were aware of the antics going on with Dom and Schiano?Do you think an agent is willing to blacklist an owner, potentially costing him and his client a lot of money?Yeah right.
