I would really like to see him get a chance in the League as an OC. He comes from a strong family in regards to offense and coaching. While I think Lovie bringing in Tedford may work if he is the team's coach. I have always wondered why he has not been given an opportunity as an OC. I really thought Raheem and company was going to hire him instead of bringing in Olsen to go that job. I think like their D coordinator Zimmer in Cin deserves a shot as a HC, I think Zampese deserves a shot as an OC.thoughts???
Hmm...he hasn't been an OC since 95 when he was with Northern Arizona University. From 2000-02 he was with the St. Louis Rams as the Offensive Assistant (’00), WRs Coach (’01), Passing Game Coordinator (’02). Since 2003 he's been the QB coach for the Bengals.I just don't know if he has the resume for it or not.
I saw him speak at a coaches clinic. He was a really smart and cool guy and has done a good job with Dalton. With all that being said however, it looks like Lovie has his guy already.
