Cousins is a good QB. If the team is demoralized I think factors around him will make him look terrible.

I think this is more of an attempt to showcase Cousins in hopes of trading him in the off season. The cost of RG3 was high and there are lots of holes to fill.

Was thinking the same thing. It was the right move. Get their franchise guy healthy, showcase their backup for a possible trade. They dont get their 1st round pick so doesnt really matter how many they win/lose from here on out. Probably should have done it a couple weeks back.
You guys are thinking what I am thinking. That is why I made this thread. Look at who they play. The Falcons, Cowboys, and Giants. All bad teams with bad secondaries and very little pass rush. If the rest of the Redskins team doesn't completely give up and continues to play hard for Cousins, they could go 3-0 and Cousin's stock could skyrocket. They could even end up getting a 1st from somebody, which is huge for them because they have no 1st round pick. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

I like Cousins, and from everything I have read Shannahan didnt want to move up to take RGIII. Cousins probably wont light things up like Flynn did a couple years back, but will probably show enough value to get trade value. I dont see them getting a 1st for him, but probably a 2nd.
