Our offense will take a serious nose dive in scoring with no receivers even worth mentioning and our defense can't stop anybody. At least we will be picking top ten now. Back to the same old Bucs. We will look like the 76' Bucs in the creamsicles against Atlanta. How many yards will Cousins have this time? I guessing over 400.
Cool story
At least we have a run game and a good OC, could be worse
it sucks we lost mike and chris but this team is not hopeless, makes fun watching them fot the fifth year in a row. when was that the case last time? long time ago!
and with coen in the bay it looks promising as well, the future is bright. if we could somehow get rid of bowles and fix the defense....
yeah first time since 2019 that we will have meaningless football. Had about a decade of that fun.
we are not use to it since Brady joined
as i was being honest, i expected 5-5 with Godwin/Evans so am not going to be surprised by the this before the bye week nose dive....only hope is like others have said, we somehow beat the Falcons this week

i mean i hope i'm wrong but we have a bottom 5 defense and Rachaad White is our best WR. Is Cade Otton our #1 threat? lol
Personally I would like to see the Bucs at least show up and be competitive. That lasted one quarter vs the Ravens. The Bucs need to sustain good play.

When you are playing teams like the Chiefs and Ravens, you need to play flawless football
they were doing just that....but that a Wirfs holding call making it 10-0 instead of 14-0....was the last error we could make.
Game was over as soon as Baker played catch with the Humphrey. A 14 point swing from being up 17-7 to down 14-10. Game. Set. Match. Spiraled downhill from there.

I totally get that the loss of Evans and Godwin is a killer, but there's still plenty of football. What if we beat the Falcons? We probably get destroyed the next two games after, but what if Evans comes back after the bye?
I get that there is sort of a "win it all or tank" mentality to the NFL, but at a minimum it will be interesting to see if one our young WRs steps up? Does Tucker continue to excel? What impact from Kancey, can he stay healthy etc.
Some of the gloomiest of the gloomy are also those who EXPECTED the team to suck last year and then this year "10 wins or its failure." Maybe its the expectations that are "injured," more so than the Bucs lol
And what's worse is with two games against the Panthers and games against the Raiders, Saints and Giants there's no way we can lose enough to get a top ten pick. Woe is us.Man . .

I wouldn’t say it’s over, in fact might be a little blessing in disguise. If we can win and give these young receivers confidence and a chance to emerge. Someone has to take the Bull by horns and think of this as an opportunity to cement themselves in the offense. We have a passing offense, now they gotta make plays. Palmer flashed with that post against Philly McMillan flashed with the corner against redskins. Sterling shepherd has chemistry with baker and a couple undrafted guys now get a chance. One of the young receivers can really make a name for themselves these next few weeks even otton.
perfect time to make a change you lose leaders and others step up, need that igniter to wake everyone up again

We’re not SB bound, but this is a GREAT chance to see our youth get some playing time and develop.
It’ll also give Coen a chance to see how good he really is.

I'm interested to see if he pivots or not. He's been coming out throwing the ball well and running off of that, which is modern football. It will be interesting to see if that gameplan will continue to work without Evans & Godwin or not. Or, does he come out with a completely different gameplan out of the gate?
The silver lining to this cloud is Atlanta doesn't really know what to expect either.

Otton has a huge opportunity. Would LOVE to see him excel. not holding breath
But to your larger point that's why the season is NOT over. Those young WRs developing (OR NOT) is key to not just this season, but seasons ahead and drafts and FAs moves.
