I'm sorry guys, but the Bucs offense is way less impressive without Evans AND Godwin. Take a look at last night. The Rams got back Nacua AND Kupp, their one-two receiving punch, and a 2-4 team beat a one loss team on the road. The Bucs need passing threats to help open up the run game. If they do, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
And what's worse is with two games against the Panthers and games against the Raiders, Saints and Giants there's no way we can lose enough to get a top ten pick. Woe is us.Man . .

there are plenty of good players drafted outside the top ten, including in areas where we have a real need.
It's going to be harder to get to 10 or 11 wins, but I think our young wr's have it in them, and our rb's, too. Falcons game will tell us a lot.

I totally get that the loss of Evans and Godwin is a killer, but there's still plenty of football. What if we beat the Falcons? We probably get destroyed the next two games after, but what if Evans comes back after the bye?
I get that there is sort of a "win it all or tank" mentality to the NFL, but at a minimum it will be interesting to see if one our young WRs steps up? Does Tucker continue to excel? What impact from Kancey, can he stay healthy etc.
Some of the gloomiest of the gloomy are also those who EXPECTED the team to suck last year and then this year "10 wins or its failure." Maybe its the expectations that are "injured," more so than the Bucs lol

this week will be telling. We win this game, and dont see any more significant injuries to key players (need to put that disclaimer in now too unfortunately) then i may get my spirits back.
I think the Bucs young WR's will step up and Coen will put together an offensive game plan that will take advantage of the Falcons defense.

Personally I would like to see the Bucs at least show up and be competitive. That lasted one quarter vs the Ravens. The Bucs need to sustain good play.

Game was over as soon as Baker played catch with the Humphrey. A 14 point swing from being up 17-7 to down 14-10. Game. Set. Match. Spiraled downhill from there.
Lol wut. The momentum certainly swung but players gotta stop momentum by making plays.
The only player on defense who made a play was Zyon.
Everyone else was consistently bad... And maybe that was the play calling but still. Nobody made a play.

I went chicken little at first and I certainly feel like losing Godwin hurts our super bowl chances... But this team still has enough talent to win the division and win a playoff game.
Gotta steal a win, get Evans back, pray Lovie Bowles figures it out, and win out during the weak part of our schedule
