Kudos to Evans

He infuriated me last year with his constant whining to officials and dropped balls. He was like Red in Sea Biscuit before he settled in. This season he has shown a new professionalism. Last night there were occasions where he was fouled without flags. On one play I remember seeing his first instinct was to complain to the refs, but he stopped himself, put his head down, and returned to the huddle. Well done Mike!!! I appreciate the growth he's shown this year and improved focus. Yes, he dropped an easy pass last night, but his hands and focus appear much better. Also, if he keeps this up, he may get more of those flags in his favor since I do believe that refs hold the hankie for complainers.
