A couple weeks ago I came to this very board to publicize a new feature on my website, the offseason tracker. Here is an example of what every page looks like. P.S: Each team has their own offseason tracker page http://www.justbucoff.com/los-angeles-rams.html Pre Off-Season Cap Space - 37.808 MillionRE-SIGNINGS:RESTRUCTURINGS:RELEASES:?02/19/16 - JAMES LAURINAITIS, ILB ---> SAVE 5.53 MILAnother big-name vet heading into a large pool of high quality free agents. Laurinaitis' play has dropped off since a great start to his career. His season total of tackles has steadily declined since he hit a career high of 117 in 2012. Last season, even though he still played and started every game he only had 60. The Rams clearly felt as if they could do more with that money and you can't blame them. Laurinaitis is still a good vet to have around and shouldn't have much trouble finding a new home at 29. Not a ton of dead cap created.Grade: A02/19/16 - JARED COOK, TE ---> SAVE 5.69 MILThis guy has been a potential "break-out" star for the last five years. Despite showing flashes every now and then, Cook has had a disappointing NFL career. He has all the physical tools to be a star and will land elsewhere at 28 years of age. However, the Rams have seen enough. They are tired of being constantly disappointed by Cook year after year. I don't think he will ever put it together. Even though he may have some 600+ yard seasons in the future he will never breakout. This is a fair move from the Rams.Grade: A02/19/16 - CHRIS LONG, DE ---> SAVE 11.75 MILLong has definitely cooled off since his red hot streak of sacks from 2010-2013. He racked up 41.5 sacks those four seasons but has only had 4.0 since. Yes, he has had some injury issues but Long should've still performed better then he has. The Rams are 100% correct by stating the fact that a 30 year old Chris Long is no longer worth 14.25 MIL / YEAR. I don't know if they offered him the option of restructuring but with Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn also on the roster this was an expense that didn't need to be paid.Grade: A-TRADES:??Pre Free Agency Cap Space - 60.782 Million (Updated: 02/19/16)SIGNINGS:Post Free Agency Cap Space - DRAFT:? *Compensatory picks are projectedRound 1, Pick 15:Round 2, Pick 43:Round 2, Pick 45 (PHI):Round 3, Pick 76:Round 4, Pick ?:Round 6, Pick ?:If you enjoyed this page please feel free to check out all 31 other team pages!
