Myself and everyone sitting around me at the stadium yesterday were continually frustrated by the run play calls on first down. So frustrating to see the offense in 2nd and 9, or 2nd and 8, then the defense knows a pass is coming on 2nd down. And in many cases leading to a third and long passing situation. It's almost like the Bucs waste a down, and only have two downs instead of three. Makes it really hard to move the chains and give the defense some rest.
Just watched the telecast, interesting comment by Greg Olsen "The best opportunity to pass the ball in the NFL is on a run down, first and ten, a run down". Lack of awareness by Lefty will cost him his job after this season is over.
Number one play action down
we threw more on 1st fine then we ran including at least one of the deep balls to Evans
2nd is the down that really kills us running, with a number of zero gain or negative runs
Number one play action down
It’s hilarious watching this dipshit try to act like some expert now.
If you people would have read his bullshit, especially regarding PA and why it works, over the last decade plus - you’d laugh your ass off too.

you keep posting about me rather than refute the post because you cannot. That is your weak sauce MO.
youre not smart enough to see how pathetic you look so youll keep posting about me rather than refute the substance
And just so it’s clear, this is Ben Baldwin the Football Outsider guy whose analysis you couldn’t comprehend lol
”Fifty-seven percent of play-action passes are thrown on first down, 36 percent on second down, six percent on third down, and one percent on fourth down.”
because the strongest correlation is THREAT TO RUN
@biggs3535 I will challenge you right here to debate play action passing
you will not because you’re scared so you’ll just keep going with the name calling.
EVEN WITH ME CALLING YOU OUT FOR ALL TO SEE…
you will NOT engage because you doubt yourself
Allow me to break this down in the most basic form. Teams studying film on the Bucs offense learn to focus on stopping the run on first down. They are waiting for it. So it makes sense to do something different from what the defense is expecting. Look at Carolina's first drive vs the Bucs. Carolina had just put up 340 years on the ground the week before vs the Lions. So the Bucs came out to stop the run. Carolina threw the ball and waltzed right down the field and scored a TD on the opening drive.
Agreed. Even the PI call on that drive comes from the Carolina slot receiver selling run block and then taking off forcing the foul
incidentally, I would imagine that if anyone counts we ran more pass on first down then run. We probably (just guessing) ran little PA passing. We put up a lot of points, for us.
many ways to do things. Especially when you have Brady

No shit, dingleberry. That's what I've been telling your dumbass for over a decade. You've finally been dragged to reality within the last month after DH called you out on your predictable "Play action doesn't work if you can't run the ball" neanderthal thinking. And now you think you're some expert. It's fuggin' hilarious.

man, you love to post as if no one else can read. LMAO
Anyone who can read sees you lying and actually running from your own errors, but hey that's on you
One more thing to add to my post above. Since the Bucs have such a bias to running on first down, it’s the perfect time to use PA.

Agreed. That's what a lot of us have been saying all year. That led to two of the loudest dingleberries incorrectly claiming the "play action doesn't work if you can't run the ball" neanderthal thinking.
