The toilet seats at Bandon are better than Spyglass or Pebble.
and Badabing can probably lend you some tissue paper once he stops crying from that savage (and creative) Julio Jones smack down you gave him earlier today!

Wasn’t a fan. Overhyped IMO.
Sure. But because of how bad the offense was in MANY late game situations I can't call them a great offense, despite the gaudy statistics.
@Lions- Three 4th qtr possessions, 1 first down, 27 yards.
@Falcons- Fumble in FG range up 3 with 3:00 left. -14 yards after taking over in FG range inside the 2:00 minute warning.
vs 49ers- 1st and goal at the 8 down 4. Coen inexplicably gives White two carries for zero yards.
@Panthers- Up 1 with 3:23 left, 2nd and 4 at the Panthers 5. Two White carries for -3 yards. Then sacked out of FG range on a run down in overtime.
@Cowboys- Down 2 with 1:40 left. White fumbles (I'm sensing a theme here).
vs Commanders- Up 4 in the 4th qtr, fumble at own 13 yard line. 2nd and 1 at WAS 12 down 3. QB pull wide and a botched snap.
Rachaad White was a big part of the problem.
This may surprise you, but nobody really cares what you call the offense's situational playcalling or what you consider good vs. bad situational playcalling. What can't be debated is that the offense was great (3rd overall & 4th scoring) and the defense was average (18th overall & 16th overall) at best. You're the only one that has trouble differentiating between those facts, so your opinion is fairly meaningless here. It's why you've been faced repeatedly, even a couple of times by a complete football moron and obvious dork/lunatic.
In one or two words describe how the offense performed in the 4th qtr of the first Falcons game and the playoff game. I don't think it's going to be "great"

of course the board is FILLED with posts about Bowles situational playcalling lol

DH will be round momentarily to deal with you.
Once he gets off the Dessault! Bad wifi those things

Imperfect
It's hilarious that you bring up the offensive playcalling in the 4th quarter of the first Falcons game and the playoff game, where the defense gave up a 9-play game-tying FG drive in regulation, subsequent game-ending TD in OT, and then game-ending FG on a 10-play drive. That was a masterclass in situational playcalling. You're making excellent points.

Embraer.
As I said, I’m not in your league yet.

Bandon, Oregon?
Y'all gotta hit me up if you're coming here... My dad used to live there
@JC - you have no argument here. Here's the simplest argument.
Coen and the offense OVERALL were better than Bowles and the defense. I don't think anyone can argue that...
Coen and the offense did have some struggles occasionally late in game... And by STRUGGLES I mean they didn't carry the defense and came up with fgs instead of TDs.
Bowles and the defense RARELY came up with stops and when they did it was never b2b sans the Detroit game.
Let's take the infamous first falcons game.
Offense carried the defense all game.
Defense finally gets a stop.
Offense fails to produce a score when it should have. Fair criticism despite a bullshit missed facemask call and a ticky tack holding call.
Ok fair. But Bucs punted for a net 20 yards to the 20 yard line (something we dealt with all year - shit punting).
1:14 left and they let them march down the field with ease and Bowles did them a favor and called a time out with 12 seconds left so they could catch it in FG range in the middle of the field and spike. Brain dead soft zone.
So while the offense did shit the bed late, the defense quite literally could have won the game but as everyone watching knew... Zero chance we'd get a stop.
Then OT of course we lose the coin toss and everyone knew they'd score a TD.
Flash forward 3 weeks and he does it again.
The best part? Cousins and the Falcons fell off a cliff after that as other competent defensive coordinators with less talent on defense (like the raiders) figured out that offense.
Bowles could not be trusted late in games... As a play caller and as a head coach.
Yet you have the audacity to accuse Coen of being bad situationally late in games?!?!?!
Do you fucking hear yourself? Without Coen we aren't even in these games
So far the one major (personnel) change on defense is the addition of Reddick as the new starter opposite of Diaby. Braswell and Nelson are back as the backups to Diaby and Reddick. LVD and Dennis are the starters at ILB. Dean and McCollum are the starting boundary CBs. Smith may or may not be the NCB or S. So a new vet safety may be signed as a new addition.

Imperfect would be kicking FGs instead of TDs. I'd call turning the ball over with a 4th qtr lead a clusterfuck. And I never questioned the play calling in the Falcons game. Just acknowledge the fact that offense really fucked up at the end of the game twice.

My argument is literally just pointing out the things that happened at the end of the games. The offense choked at the end of games with the turnovers and leaving points on the board, it was too often for this offense to be considered elite or even great. If this offense is great we win the Falcons game, win the 49ers game, win the Cowboys game, win the Commanders game. I went throught all the moments so I'm not doing it again. Bottom is line is the offense choked more than people want to admit and the defense made more stops than people want to admit.

Nobody here is saying the offense was perfect 100% of the time. You, however, are attempting to make the argument that somehow an average-at-best defense was better than the top 5 offense. You’re predictably conflating situational playcalling with the results of the play, because that’s really all you can do to make your argument work. You haven’t and won’t be successful in this venture.
If you insist on continuing this dumbass line of logic, you’ll have to put in the corner with the loon, not to be taken seriously.
