Guess I'm a loon for saying the offense fumbled in 4th qtrs in 3 games we lost.
My argument is literally just pointing out the things that happened at the end of the games. The offense choked at the end of games with the turnovers and leaving points on the board, it was too often for this offense to be considered elite or even great. If this offense is great we win the Falcons game, win the 49ers game, win the Cowboys game, win the Commanders game. I went throught all the moments so I'm not doing it again. Bottom is line is the offense choked more than people want to admit and the defense made more stops than people want to admit.
The offense is being held to a different standard than the defense because we were accustomed to it carrying the offense.
So when the offense marches down the field to tie to game with a FG instead of taking the lead with a TD, you get your red market out and call it a failure.
It deserves to be criticized but in the simplest terms...
Offense tied the game with a FG and left less than 90 seconds left. SUCCESS
Defense allows SF (or Atlanta, or KC, or Washington) to easily march down the FG and tie/win the game. FAILURE.
It's not that complicated... And in the Niners game Coen did it without Evans or Godwin. Both of which were our because Bowles is a bad head coach.

If the defense plays better the fumbles don't matter.
Further, if the defense could get off the field the offense would have scored more points.
Further, if the defense forced more turnovers the offense could have scored even more points.
Do you think the Raiders have more talent on defense than the Bucs? Fuck no. And yet they held Atlanta in check. The Saints had more success on defense than them. The Seahawks and Cowboys faired better.
These aren't teams with more talent than what Bowles has to work with... They just played better because of play calling.

The Bucky fumble actually didn't matter because the defense got the ball right back, hand delivered a FG to the offense. But they lost 14 yards.

Different standard? How about dont fumble the ball. Don't botch snaps. Don't lose 14 yards in FG range. Don't give it to White on the goal line (or dont give the ball to him period)

Or don't, in literally every single close late game, give up a game winning or tying drive with zero resistance.
They lost 14 yards because of penalty while missing an obvious face mask that seals the game.
Offense still had rookies and those rookies - RB, C and WR - made critical mistakes. That’s not unusual and it does not bring the offense to the level of the defense.

And a 2nd year (really first year in the NFL) offensive play caller vs Bowles has 20+ years experience
If this offense is great we win the Falcons game,
Imagine being such a clown that you’d blame an offense on losing 2 games (where one of them we were down our WR1 and WR2 because of the HC that you openly fellate), where the DEFENSE gave up a combined 800 yards and 8 TD’s to Kirk Cousins.

1st and 10 at the 30 and 1st and 10 at the 28. Not even a FG attempt.

Offense averaged a TD more than league average over the 2 outings (again, while missing 2 of our best weapons for a game due to your boy’s sheer incompetence) while the defense surrendered nearly 70 points combined.
🤡
Kapalua, Pebble, Spyglass, TPC Scottsdale days after the tourneys were played
DH, does this mean you’re playing Sawgrass this week? Do you intentionally play to get close to the PGA experience with rough etc?
I ask because I’ve done that twice but more by circumstances than choice.

Because they missed a blatant facemask and instead called a ticky tack hold.

I knew you’d figure it out. Well done, sir.
And, no, not headed to Ponte Vedra.
Have played it a few times after the Players.
Of every listed “bucket list” course, this might be the most overrated of them all.

I believe many people owe Todd Bowles an apology and Rachaad White needs to be exiled to Jacksonville.
