Never seen a more biased and cherry picked breakdown in my life. I can't even begin to breakdown the bias here because it's 90% your feelings and 10% facts.
For example the Lions game. Yes the defense came up big with stops in the red zone to steal a win and yes the offense was hyper conservative with the LEAD (emphasis on lead).
But of course the offense didn't scoring... For 2 reasons
1.) playing with the lead
2.) lions sustaining drives that should have resulted in scored but true to Dan Campbell's style he rolled the dice and it was a rare loss for him in doing so...
In your entire breakdown you don't ONCE talk about ball control. IE - forcing punts and sustaining drives.
I don't care to break down the rest of this bias and the fact that you skipped a bunch of games.
Bailouts refers to wins. I went through each win. You don't like talking game situations because they disprove the narrative.
Because the defense in 5 games lost the game in the end.
Offense can't bail out the defense if they're unable to get a stop late in games or in OT.

Didn't the defense get a big stop late in the Falcons game? Didn't the defense get a big stop in overtime vs Carolina?
And in 4 of those games you're refering to the offense had major meltdowns late in the game.
at Falcons- fumble at 3:00, then a disasterous -14 yard 3 and out in FG range.
vs 49ers- can't score a TD 1st and goal at the 8.
vs Cowboys- two turnovers in last 6 minutes of the game
vs Commanders- 4th qtr fumble deep in own territory, botched 3rd and 1 snap.
Just facts.
the offense had major meltdowns late in the game.
The defense was the weak link last season, 100%
But the offense definitely played a part in some of the losses.
It is NOT that surprising because of the impact of rookies. You had our C involved in a couple losses, Irving with a fumble, and in the playoff game our rookie wide receiver - as well as he was playing leading up to that game - had a critical drop early and was involved in a fumble late.
Didn't the defense get a big stop late in the Falcons game? Didn't the defense get a big stop in overtime vs Carolina?
How can you make this point with a straight face?
I already outlined how bad the defense was that game. One forced punt and the late pick.
Yes that was a stop but it wasn't enough to run the clock out...and let's not forget we got a ticky tack holding call on Barton (who had a nightmare game), and a missed facemask on Bucky.
Kirk Cousins went on to get benched and yet both games he absolutely torched the Bucs defense.
Both games the offense MASSIVELY outperformed the defense. MASSIVE. One of which was with Evans and Godwin out because Bowles went brain dead vs Ravens.
I just don't understand how you can say this stuff works a straight face.

Falcons game - defense shit the bed
49ers game - offense had zero weapons and still managed to get inside the 10 then went too conservative and I agree hated the play calling. But still tied the game and IMMEDIATELY the defense marches down the field and wins. And the defense got bailed out by 3 missed fgs that game.
Cowboys - defense was shredded by a backup QB most of the game until they had a 2 score lead. Then we got a stop because Vea made an insane play on a perfectly called TE screen against a predictable Bowles third down blitz.
Commanders - defense didn't force one punt or turnover. Offense had limited possessions and scored on 5 of 7.
Cheifs - you didn't mention this... Expected. Offense tied the game up against an elite defense with limited weapons. We lost the coin flip and Baker immediately knew the defense would again give up a score in overtime

Your hate for Bowles has given you psychosis. Sometimes the defense made big stops, sometimes they gave up bad scores. Sometimes they played good, sometimes they played bad. 16th in points allowed, 18th in yards allowed. A league average defense. What you're doing, and most Bucs fans and media are doing the same for some reason, is ignoring the good things the defense did, ignoring the bad things the offense did, and just blaming every failure on the defense and Bowles.
The playoff game is the epitome of this.
-The defense gave up 23 points (although it really wasn't 23). That's league average.
-The defense made a great goal line stand in the 4th qtr with the lead.
-The offense completely choked in the 4th qtr.
-The defense gave up a late score.
Bowles can only do so much with what he has. Where as the Bucs offense literally made back breaking errors that shifted the game.

And yet you lose your mind when Coen only scores 20 points without Godwin and Evans.
You can cry that I have Bowles Derangement Syndrome then brag you're gonna live bet against Coen all year while clutching your pearls

I lose my mind because he misused the RBs. When we got to the 49ers 13 it should have been Irving and or Tucker. Instead it was 3 White carries for 0 yards.
You can cry that I have Bowles Derangement Syndrome
Maybe just “Derangement Syndrome?” The target varies. Was Licht, now Bowles.
lol. Kidding of course.

It's such an overused, smooth brain insult... Anytime you are critical of someone that can be dismissed with "derangement syndrome".
JC has "FireBowles2023 derangement syndrome".
