You are right questioning the Seahawks for financial responsibility. If anything they have been extrememly lucky.
They drafted well.. That's it.That doesn't make them financially responsible. They'll be throwing money around soon when Bobby Wagner, KJ Wright, Sherman, Thomas, Wilson, Maxwell, and Irvin needs their deals to be re-done.
Lions won't let Suh walk but if they did...Cut Nick and Joseph, slide Zuttah to G, sign Mack at C and Suh at DT, and draft OG in 2nd round.Boom.

I wish but that would never happen. Drew Brees would go to league and force some new rule that wouldn't allow us to play both of them at the same time.
Bring in Suh
Didn't even read the article. The title is absolutely stupid. Seahawks aren't fiscally responsible. And the Lions are not amd should not let him just walk. This is nothing more than a troll article. I wonder if said author will be preaching the same thing when it's time for the Seahawks to re-up their key players. Earl Thomas will probably be the highest paid safety in the league, Sherman will probably be one of the highest paid corners in the league. Can't believe I opened this crap.
If you had read the article you'd see the author suggested trading him, not letting him walk. The title was typical Michaelbot misleading crap.

Drew Sharp: Detroit Lions must learn from fiscally responsible Seahawks, let Ndamukong Suh walk February 4, 2014 I believe he suggested letting him walk, because who would trade for that contract he has?
They drafted well.. That's it.
Well, is that not what its all about? I can only wish the Bucs drafted that well. I don't know who has final say out there, Carroll or Schneider, but whatever arrangement they have, its working.
"The only significant defensive free agent added was former Lion Cliff Avril, "Poor Bennett, demoted to insignificance again.
Personally, I don't think that much of Suh as a player. He has been good, but not great and the character issues only degrade his value to me. I think a lot of people value his name and reputation more than his play merits. Just my opinion.

We have all seen his antics on the field. And if it was limited to on field only, it wouldn't be so bad. But he is a bigger ass off the field than on. He just fired his agent, and expected to be mobbed at the Pro Bowl by agents wanting to rep him. It never materialized.
