Suppose the offense shows great progress but the defense is a major disappointment? Is Canales the Bucs next head coach?

Suppose the offense shows great progress but the defense is a major disappointment? Is Canales the Bucs next head coach?
If the Bucs are picking in the top five or top ten of the draft and looking for a QB I can see this happening. Would Monken consider returning if he does well with the Ravens?

Unless there are multiple injuries to key players that just shouldn't happen. There are too many veteran players on the defense. And then in your scenario the offense is doing well, so they're presumably not throwing up 3 and outs and giving the other team short fields with turnovers. So I guess yes you could be correct, but I think it's a real longshot that it would happen that way.Suppose the offense shows great progress but the defense is a major disappointment?
