Reading and talking to fans there seems to be a lot of hate about former Coach Smith. Now, obviously his defense fell flat and did him in. I believed it should be noted that he was given a lot more responsibility that just doing clipboard work. He was given full control..... had to setup an entire front office and coaching staff. His coaching led to losses but somehow many fans feel that this team has been built to win starting next year. This franchise seems to be in a nice position(maybe you disagree) right now. When Lovie was hired in 2014 we were a bad franchise and had the wrong hire been made it could have led to bad decisions and our arrow would not be pointed up like it currently is. Nobody will credit Lovie for his coaching style. But does he get any credit in your opinions?
