you will probably get it, just brush it off and ignore the haters. without rumors and connected news this place wouldnt be worth much. it doesnt take much to recognize the posters who spam the boards for attention vs. the guys who might have actually heard something valid. ill take that news everytime, even if it doesnt turn out. keep it up!

That was my first thought. I have a feeling that he heard good things from Leslie. Jared Allen's name was never mentioned when me and my source talked about free agency before. Now that Leslie is on staff I'm almost certain he had to vouch for Allen to make Smith say this.I also hear that the Glazers will "open their wallets" for free agency. The only way we don't land him is if a preseason super bowl contender offers him a good amount of money. A team like the patriots or Broncos won't have to out bid us. Allen wants a ring. If Dom was aware of the M. Williams drug issues, why would he redo the contract last year? If Dom knew these issues were out there and did the contract anyway - sheesh.
