I've wanted Jared Allen in Tampa for a long time. He's a guy who keeps himself in shape year round, so being 30-ish is less a concern than with most big guys... Now if also get Jarius Byrd, our pass D will be infinitely improved. No reason not to play all 3 safeties on long yardage with 2 LBs...

Red Boarders always diminish and underrate the value to players who get injured. I remember most folks on this board labeling McCoy a bust and wanted Dominik hung from the rafters for picking him and not trading up for Suh. While Mike might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, he's been a good player for us. Had he not been injured and performed in a similiar fashion as the 2012 season, this wouldn't be up for debate.Also, I seem to remember most of the board imploring Dom to sign him to a long term deal. "Pay the man!" I believe was the common chant. Dude got hurt......why should we ditch him now?
