Just looked it up and 18 of Kuechly's 24 tackles on Sunday were made after the player had already gained at least 3 yards.
Damn that's pretty good. Not many MLB's make 25% of their tackles for 3 yards or less. Nice research.
He had a very good game, don't get me wrong, just saying that the fact that he had 24 tackles is blown way out of proportion. A lot of the tackles were made downfield when the player had already gotten a 1st down or significant yardage.
We had a guy like that once.
Kuechly is better than Ruud, but he's extremely overrated. Kuechly is a good player, but the DPOY talk is absurd. Karlos Dansby has had a better season than Kuechly and had the game clinching pick against Seattle last week, but yet no one says a peep about him.

Patrick Willis is generally regarded as one of the best, if not the best, ILB in the league, yes? He had 18 tackles on Sunday, with 12 of them being after the player had already gained at least 3 yards.Let's stop the charade people. If you watch Kuechly play and think his game resembles pansy boy Ruud's game, you don't know what the fugg you're talking about.
Willis had 3 TFL and 15 of his 18 tackles were solo, while only 9 of Kuechly's 24 were solo and only 1 was a TFL. I'm not saying Kuechly is Ruud at all. I'm just saying that there are better LB's out there than him that get no recognition while Kuechly gets slobbered on by everyone with every chance they get to praise him.

Agreed. He's definitely up there for most overrated in the game. Again, not saying he isn't good, but he just gets ridiculously hyped up.
Of course he's better than Rudd.In 7 years, Rudd only had 178 tck, 1ff and 1 int. He was a journey man. I don't even know why the two are being compared? http://www.nfl.com/player/dwaynerudd/2502771/profile Learn how to spell, dip**CENSORED**.

wasn't talking to you.
wasn't talking to you.
Who were you talking to? youngone is the only poster in this thread to use that spelling.
He wasn't. Somebody else edited.

Don't see anybody that edited their post, but I do see one poster that's used that spelling multiple times - yet you weren't talking to him?Who were you directing your post at?
lol at this mustard guy.
I was one of the people not sold on Kuechly coming out of college. I never thought he'd be bad, I just didn't think he'd be great. He's had a very good season, but not better than David's.
Buggsy mad... he like Weakly.
