Bucs lose this one like 26-16
Entertaining, but a bit frustrating for a Bucs fan. It just seemed they put in a code "if the Bucs are kicking ass, make them throw the ball in the dirt or something." Bucs ran the ball pretty well; Winston didn't throw any ints; but, every time we got into the redzone, Winston would miss a wide open Mike Evans. Yes, a Mike Evans; EA didn't get the IR memo for Mike Evans. Even with Mike Evans in the game, we couldn't score Td's - just field goals.
Shaq Barret had like one good passrush, and the Texan's Qb got rid of the ball too quickly.
For most of the game, the Bucs D dominated; but then the Texans Qb started scrambling for twenty or more yards.
Bucs went for it on fourth down in the redzone, and didn't get the Td(or the fieldgoal). That didn't help.
- I do agree that I have my doubts the Bucs can win this game. Unless the Bucs find a running game . . . the Bucs have no passing game left. How many times are they going to throw to Perriman?
I'm tempted to think we could double team their star Wr . . . i suppose we might pull out a close low scoring Defensive battle.
