We are solid or strong at QB, OL, TE, WR, RB, DT, LB and now CB and DE. Our weakest position is safety but this is not a good safety class at all. I think we may take a project type prospect later at that position.I can understand the initial reaction from many about the kicker...but I don't know if you have had the experience playing or coaching the game. Place kicking is a HUGE part of the game...it just is. It's points on the board. I played QB in high school and there is nothing worse than leaving the field after third down, not knowing if the kicker can convert on 4th down. The anxiety is even worse for coaches. Remember the Texans game? The difference in that game was that our kicker missed 3 field goals. One draft pick and we may have solidified that position for 10 years? I have have no problem with it. Next year, when we are in tight games and need 3 points...you will be thanking Licht for this pick. The kid is good.Going forward...what picks do you like? I like Deiondre Hall out of Northern Iowa. Tall corner who has played safety and most think that is were he will be best. Billings could be a great depth pickup in the 4th round. Also, watch for Dan Vitale FB in the 6th round. I know the Bucs like him and he lines up all over...has really good hands. He would make this team and contribute.Other intriguing picks to me are Dadi Nicolas (edge rusher), Stephane Nembot (project at OT...new to the game but huge upside), Pharoh Cooper (could be our slot guy/returner as well) and Daniel Lasco (great special teamer/Bucs seem to have some interest).
