Arguably Mariota's biggest impact isn't even real. Enter 2015 NFL. Bucs Select Marcus Mariota. Maybe he is a franchise player, maybe he isn't. That couldn't be further from the point of this thread.I'm talking about Madden '16 folks. If and when the Bucs draft M&M it will likely sky rocket the bucs back into relevance overnight by making the most used team in Madden '16. Gamers will tell you that despite JFF's inability to throw an accurate pass, the browns popularity on the game as surged after he was drafted. Marcus Mariota will be the best Dual threat QB in Madden since the infamous Mike Vick of Madden '04. While I don't expect Mariota to be given a 95 speed rating, I would expect him in the 88-90 range, if he does in fact hold up to his supposed 4.4 speed. I don't believe he'll have a high 90 throw power but I would expect his throw accuracy to be better than Vick. I would also expect a mid 80's acceleration and agility for M&M. I believe Marcus will net an overall rating in the low 80's which, IMO, would make him the best running QB since Vick.This will undoubtedly make the Bucs the franchise of choice for online game play, offline franchise and online franchise. I know it sounds silly, why would your video game franchise team change what teams you follow, well I don't know, but it happens. It's happened to me in years past that I played Madden a lot and considering the hype around Mariota and the measurables he has, I think it could jump start the bucs path back to reality.What say you scallywags?
