I’ll get to the others later but the Bucs went 1-16 in a 17 game stretch with Griese, Garcia, Leftwich, Johnson and a rookie Freeman. Luke McCown publicly talked about he was benched pre-game in Atlanta because of a contract dispute. Bucs defense and special teams were lights out that game, Griese was pathetic.

After that 2008 collapse, Luke played until 2015....another 7 seasons and threw exactly zero touchdown passes in that span.

They were trying to lock him in before the Falcons game. He rejected it so they benched him. Again, it’s all public.
