As much as Jason has been bashed over the past several years I’d say it’s about time to give this man some due. Sure, he has been supported MUCH better the past 2 years with Arians and his staff in terms of personnel selections, but the Bucs pickup of McClendon for peanuts to replace the HUGE loss of Vita Vea was nothing short of spectacular. Add to that his other key FA acqs including a bunch of patchwork 1 year deals and especially his drafting the last two to three years which is now being recognized with our blossoming young talent at all levels both offensively and defensively and that’s how you build and maintain a franchise. I really like this Front office and coaching staff as a collective unit. They trust each other and work very cohesively. I would LOVE to see BA move into a front office Coughlin-esque position when he decides to step down and hand the rains to either Bowles or Lefty, whoever they deem appropriate. Would also be super cool if TB12 stuck around in some capacity. That guy just gets it and works so damn hard to turn whatever he touches into gold. Good job guys, you seem to have turned this ship around. The next huge hurdle will be finding a way to stay successful next year and beyond with the tightening cap! Good luck and go Bucs!
