The way I see it.........by the time our team gels and really becomes a bonfire contender for the super bowl (as in multiple appearances in the post season for a few years) McCoy will be gassed.Seeing as we have A LOT of issues...and they won't be fixed any time soon.....do you make a business decision to trade him sooner rather than later? I think the guy is hot and cold....and never really lived up to the hype. He excites far too many fans simply because for the last decade or so.....he's the best they've seen in their eyes.fortunately, his stock is still inflated....and again...from a business approach...I would as a business person trade him next season....because I already know he won't be worth anything when he is finally needed......and right here right now....he could be the missing element to a good defense on another team....now. I could see us coming out of that and being very happy with the results.99% of the fans would think it's a bad move......but 99% of the fans are knuckleheads and are wrapped around the "now"...and myopic when it comes to the future.Again.....he's not getting any younger....and he will be worthless by the time we really need him....so I'd entertain a trade next season....because his stock is still perceived as relatively high.
