Sports Writers  - Glennon best rookie QBBucs  "fans" -  Glennon sucks

No one denies he's the best rookie QB but that's not saying anything since the bar is 10 feet below the ground. Even the #1 turd is still a turd.

I think watching Freeman start for the Vikings answered every question about his talent that we ever had.

The only one it answered is that a QB can't learn a new system that fast. Not even Peyton could have made it look any better in that amount of time. That's not defending Freeman it's just stating a fact. The Viking failed there!

the system made him overthrow?

In a roundabout way you could make that case if you wanted too. I mean if you watched Steve Young play for the Buc's you'd be thinking the same thing.

Yeah sorry dude his reads weren't that bad, his throws were appalling.  Some of the funniest reading is the twitter feed of former players watching Freeman try and play QB that night.

Yea nothing funnier then has beens trying to get back into the spotlight anyway they can. Not my idea of funny. Now the replies in these forums are funny! I went as far as to print and post some of the stuff from here to the break room board so thousands of people could enjoy the stuff. Liquid gold! :)

Remember that game against the Jets where vinny t came out if retirement a week beforehand and beat us?  I believe it was the "flashlight" game.  It can be done.

The Vikes did Free no favors, but he was clearly exposed on that MNF game. He overplayed his hand, both here in Tampa and also with the Vikes. Instead of sitting out the rest of the year and hitting FA like he should have, he jumped at the extra 3 mil and generated a lot of bad tape and even more bad press in the process.

Everyone lost here. Freeman, Schiano, Dominik, the fans (even though they don't realize it). I don't care what he was doing, I will never understand how the Glazers authorized the release of a 25 year old 6'6 QB with a cannon. The report that Schiano and Dominik "talked them into it" is cringe worthy. They let two guys talk them into a major decision and fire the 2 guys 3 months later? The answer was to just have him be the backup or be deactivated and let the next regime make the call. And at 0-4 Schiano already had one foot out the door so I'm not buying that they thought Schiano was going to be back. The Glazers gave Schiano and Dominik too much free will to ship players in and out of here. Major decisions that they should not have had the power to make. I don't blame him for going to Minnesota. I just don't know what they expected was going to happen when they have a guy throw 53 passes in a game (many of the same plays over and over again) after being there for 2 weeks. He should have been playing in December, not October. I just hope he picks his next team wisely. He's better off being the backup on a good team with a shaky QB situation like Cincinnati than going to a crap team like Oakland and starting right away.
