I would never suggest that Glennon is the answer, but wasting time and money on Vick surely isn't either. I mean the guy has been back for 5 years now and is supposedly concentrating on really learning the game, but he can't figure out how to slide or run out of bounds? Jesus we'd have to be stupid to go that route.

The offense would have to be jff primarily, but (idk about you) but I'm completely bored with derpy offenses.Outside runs, mismatches physically, and timing would be the cornerstones to that type of offense.I know you don't agree, but that's all good.

Vick isn't going anywhere as a backup. He has that in Philly. He will go somewhere where he thinks he can grab the starter job for 2 seasons. Now with a young Glennon, that might end up being Tampa (honestly, it wouldn't surprise me), but he isn't jumping on board with Lovie while being told he will be the backup.

I tend to agree with you, however, I currently live in Philly and the sports-radio up here has quoted him as saying that he thinks he is still as starter in this league and will go anywhere where he has a chance of snatching the starter job. Honestly, there are a number of destinations in which Vick could probably show up in training camp and outplay the current qb. If he ends up in Tampa, it will tell you most everything you need to know about what the perception of Glennon is from at least one veteran qb, and perhaps what the incoming coach thinks of his chances to be the future of this franchise.

Of course he won't.But he will go to a team where he has the chance to compete, and he will judge that as the most likely reason to come to us, unfortunately. With as many teams ahead of us in the draft who are looking for qb's, we may be left with scraps or just stick with Glennon. He won't go to any of the teams ahead of us in the draft, unless its the Raiders. I'm guessing he ends up a Viking.
I like the idea of Cassell coming in. The Vick idea isn't that great. I have watched them both play this past year and Cassell is a much better option. Cassell could actually be good in a better system.
