No they are not. He has $1.2M left in guaranteed money. That's it.

You're wrong@corryjoel: @Bucs_Nation Mike Williams has fully GTD (w/an offset) '14/'15 base salaries of $1.2M/$5.2M. There would be $6.4M in dead $$ if he's cut.

I don't know @corryjoel.....but my source says otherwise and I believe Sportrac.  http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tampa-bay-buccaneers/mike-williams/ The numbers @corryjoel is reporting are the numbers that Pat Yasinskis reported at the time of the deal. Maybe he is right and I am wrong, but I'm just going off what I see.*edit - Every thing I read says he got $15M guaranteed. So perhaps sportrac is wrong.

Rotoworld says he received 9.4 guaranteed which was the first two years salary plus a $1mil roster bonus. That works perfectly with Spotrac's numbers. Pretty much every other site I checked states his $5.2 mil from 2015 is also guaranteed which works with the original $15mil guaranteed.

What is up with MW19? Why do famous athletes have to go on Twitter and make fools of themselves? I m beginning to think that MW19 was fools gold. Another Dominik bad free agent signing.

hard to believe the $9.4M guaranteed... Steve Johnson signed a deal with $19M guaranteed, Victor Cruz got $15M guaranteed, Garcon $20M, Colston, Greg Jennings or Sidney Rice $18M... top WR like Bowe or Harvin making $25M guaranteed... $15M makes more sense for a young receiver with 2700 yards in 3 season and no health issue...

I'd rather PR be real and piss off some players/coaches, than be candy ass sheep that follow the Bucs agenda.

+1This is a site for fans, not the players. Speak truth

UPDATE: Rapoport obtained a copy of the officially filed contract to report that Williams is due $7.2 million in 2013, with $5.27 million of that deferred until March 2014. Williams will earn a base of $1.2 million, with a $1 million roster bonus and $600,000 workout bonus in 2014.From 2015 through 2018, Williams will earn matching roster and workout bonuses -- $1 million and $600,000, respectively -- but with a variable base. Williams will earn $5.2 million in base salary in 2015, $5.6 million in 2016, and $5.9 million in 2017. In 2018, his base dips to $4.15 million. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000220149/article/mike-williams-tampa-bay-buccaneers-strike-contract

Doesn't appear to address what is guaranteed. FWIW...overthecap.com also has the $9.4 guaranteed number however I agree that, based on market rate, $15mil seems more appropriate.

We shouldn't have re-upped him until he proved himself more mature...I don't Care how the contract breaks down , or if we have an out in 2014. It's stupid and backwards. You don't give an idiot a lucrative long-term deal and then hope he gets his act together. You let the player get his act together and THEN you give him the long term deal.

If the truth hurts do not be mad at the one that said it, be mad at the one that made it true.If you're reading this Mike you have no grounds to be mad at anyone but yourself.  The media will report what you give them.

This information came from somewhere and Williams didn't deny any of what was reported in the PR article. Sure this issue will be the first questions he will have to answer at the first media opportunity. Imagine his agent will be busy putting out this fire. And Mike, it's called a period and is used to end sentences. Give them a try.
