1 - RT Jawaan Taylor - trade down in the 10-15 range. Extra 2nd round pick and a 1st in 2020. Day one RT upgrade over Dotson. Mauler in the run game. Solid pass pro that will improve with NFL coaching.
2a - DT Jeffery Simmons - late injury and off field concerns push one of the draft's top 10 players to 39th overall. Projects as a Fletcher Cox type of player. Perfect size for our new 34 defense. May have to redshirt rookie year, but should still be a long term fixture up front
2b - CB Jamel Dean - 4.3 speed, scheme fit, starting nickel, former college teammate with Carlton Davis, press-man skillset.
3 - RG Connor McGovern - experienced RG, lead blocker for Saquon and Miles Sanders, good pedigree, highly touted recruit who did not disappoint, day one mauler in the run game, may take a year or two for pass blocking to catch up, very similar to Ali Marpet.
4 - RB Rodney Anderson - Would be a 1st rounder if not for injuries, dominated when healthy, versatile, complete RB skillset, could be brought along slowly with Barber, Jones and Sean Wilson in the fold.
5, 6, 7 - Kicker, Kicker, Kicker - 3 tries at the kicker position, Cairo still probably wins the competition and goes 72% for the year.
