Now post my W’s
You hate Licht but you agreed with his move to let Coen walk and keep Bowles.
So...
The mistake was Grizzard over Kubiak. For some reason Biggs didn’t post me advocating for Kubiak.
How does Kubiak fix the 24th scoring defense? Grizzard's unit (18th scoring) is outperforming Bowles' unit. Of course, you'll make every excuse in the book for Bowles' shitty defensive performance, because you're a dancing clown.
The mistake, as damn anybody with a clue knew then and now, was not moving on from Bowles and promoting Coen. But you don't learn lessons from your voluminous number of horrendous takes.
Funny when I win an argument the argument shifts to something else.
The Bucs have enough talent on defense to be .500. Offense is not far behind entering the top 15 to finish the season as long as Bowles doesn't interfere again. But Grizzard is a rookie OC while Bowles is a seasoned DC and he should know better.

You’ve won nothing. This thread and the argument was about Head Coaches. After getting faced with your embarrassing takes, you shifted the argument from Head Coaches to Coordinators. At which point, you continued getting faced.
Feel free to shift the argument again, slapnuts. It’s working wonderfully.

I actually think you've had some solid takes and I value them... But then you've had some really bad takes too.
But we all have...
But you were dead ass wrong about Coen.

Coen did the Bucs wrong at the end. He was calling the same plays in the same situations vs Washington as he did Week 1. Probably because he was preoccupied with the Jacksonville job. Either way it cost us. If we hired Kubiak nobody would care about Coen right now.

was the jet sweep play retarded, sure. But Baker fumbling and Barton not being able to snap the ball were what did the offense in
Coen had the offense in the top 5. The guy was sorely missed this year. Was he perhaps our best play caller in franchise history?
Coen took his opportunity when it arrived. I don’t fault him for that. I appreciate what he’s done.
The Bucs didn’t offer him a shot, he had to weigh wether defenses would figure out what he was doing before he git a shot - against the “promise”’of getting a shot with the Bucs in an orderly progression. I doubt any of us would have made a different decision.
Fortune favors the bold.
The Bucs stuck with their commitment to values and were not going to be forced into making a rash decision. It appeared the organization was trying to establish continuity - a commitment to not to make rash decisions. We’ve fired coaches and bet heavily that the bold crazy change-up’s of our past didn’t work out very well. They had even demonstrated finding two good OC’s while staying committed to the HC - and still being able to win.
If we fans know that situations change quickly on the NFL - how could they not envision it as a possibility? Changing HC’s isn’t a lock to achieve more wins with the same talent. Keeping a head coach that has only achieved mediocrity may not be the desire of the fans - but it may be ok for the owners - it could also be where we see them hit pause on their “culture”.
We’ll see. Losing the next two would be hard for me to see them retain Bowles. Winning one or both, might give them cover (forcing Bowles to give up the DC?). Neither are desirable, both come with fishhooks.
We’ll see.

Bowles playing bend don't break and allowing Washington to eat extended clock made it so our offense had no rhythm and no time to score close to it's average.
I think we scored on 4 of 6 drives.
It wasn't Coen's best game but the game plan had bowles fingerprints all over it.

It wasn't even that bad of a play call. Just poor execution.
Barton isn't an NFL center... His later snap was a huge miss.
I do not see how Bowles is retained.
as I’ve said though, this ownership group/organization doesn’t have an impressive record with the hiring new coaches. It actually is vomit-inducingly bad. I’d argue that without the Patriots imploding on Brady, I’m not sure we’d have much good to say about the Arians era..
I have minimized it in the past, and learned that is massive mistake. For the uninitiated, or for those who have only been around for the last few coaching changes, it’s not anything that should be seen as a quick-fix. Maybe the game has changed enough that continuity can happen on one side of the ball. But the changes don’t stop on one side and continuity (regarding existing talent and how they’re used) isn’t evaluated the same by the new guy.
Maybe the organization has learned something, maybe leopards can change their spots?
I’m about as confident in that as I am in Bowles being able to pull off a Super Bowl run this season.
Barton isn't an NFL center.
This is such a piss poor take.
Eye ball test, stats, PFF all say different.
Maybe we can convert him to guard and/or our multi-purposed depth piece.
He's not an NFL center...
If Spytek was part of drafting him we can use him as a piece to get Crosby.

The cumulative PFF grade has been addressed multiple times.
What stats?
The eyeball test is passing. I’ve keyed in on him the last two games, because of you and the Red Board GM saying he was bad. He has been the opposite of bad. The dudes beside him suck, but he’s been very, very good with hardly any negative plays. He’s had about as many negative plays as Wirfs. He’s been good. Give me the timestamps from the last two games where he’s had negative plays. The Red Board GM failed when challenged. I’d like to see what you’re talking about.
