How about Chud as OC?
No thank you
Wel he likes balance in his offense...for a college fan that probably looks conservative.
Seems pretty close to confirmed that Tedford will be the OC
Does jdud think Chudz is cute?
Rodgers was a JC guy right? How many of the Tedford guys who "didnit make it in the pros" never would've even gotten to the pros -- let alone as 1st round picks --- without Tedford and his offense? He was at CAL . . . not USCAlso, he is a run game guy too, right? should be big for Martin -- if Tedford is even the OC
That is what im saying. How is making guys look so good in college that they get picked in round 1 bad ?
Its not unless they were 100% Blue Chip guys when he got them to Cal. Even Rodgers was not that
Where is the infamous "Crown Us" ?
+1Nothing is official until I hear it.
All those QB's did have at least some success in the league, they just couldn't sustain. Not sure what the really says about Tedford. I do know that Dilfer was simply the wrong QB for a West Coast system. He was a rhythm passer and rarely got a chance to do that with the Bucs, though he did start getting some shots at it during the 99 season before he got injured (he was just starting to hit Green deep in stride with regularity when he got injured). I guess we'll see if it turns out to be true. The hire of Lovie is a very solid move, though, and I expect we'll be back to winning seasons quite quickly.

Think about his backs that got to the NFL: Lynch, Best, Shane Vereen....all good guys in the passing game so we should expect to see Martin used a lot better that way as well.
Well, I guess he polished crap then? ..if he can make akili look good, right?I know OF him, but haven't followed his career much.

We all know he made Akili Smitty look good. But as a collegian. As a pro, he is null on results. His QBs track records as professional athletes is not that impressive. It is somewhat bad, considering draft status in most cases.Rodgers, of course, being the outlier.
Tedford has never called an offensive play in the NFL, never hired an NFL offensive coaching staff, and has an average history with getting his college QBs ready for the next level...SMHCautiously pessimistic with this alleged hire
Chud is crud.
Whether you agree with the Smith hire or not, you have to admit that its impressive that, other than his first season in Chicago, he never finished worse than 7-9.11-513-37-99-77-911-58-810-6===76-52 (0.594 winning percentage) in years 2 thru 9NOW, we just need a QB.
I don't know jack about Chud. I just know he had Cleveland's offense looking solid before Hoyer went down...and a lot of people wanted him as HC before we hired Schinao.
